Rectangles are 1/4 inch wide by 3/8 inch tall with sterling posts. Hand made from fine silver. Backs have a linear texture for contrast.
The earrings are made from precious metal clay (PMC), which consists of recycled silver particles embedded in a binder. The clay is worked into a desired shape, dried, and then fired in a kiln. At high temperatures, the binder burns off, leaving .999% fine silver! The silver piece can then be treated with traditional metalsmithing techniques, such as dapping, forging, burnishing, and polishing. A patina is added for character and to highlight textures.
Each pair of earrings is entirely handmade, making them true originals. Please expect minor variations.
