Remember stringing pasta on yarn in preschool? Maybe even coloring the noodles with magic markers?

This one took a little more time and a few more tools, but the idea had the same genesis as the originals.

At once playful and whimsical, as well as elegant and intricately detailed...this necklace makes a statement.

Recycled sterling silver is milled to produce compelling textures, and hammered into cylinders. Hand-forged sterling disks link the "noodles".

The silver is finally oxidized with a patina, and then selectively polished to highlight the varied textures.

Necklace is 18 inches, but can be clasped between 16.5 and 18 inches.
